    Turkey breast from an actual turkey cooked in house and a free cookie for newbies.  The turkey club was fantastic.  The price was great.  It's right by the convention center area.  There are no seats inside but there are plenty in the square across the street.  Possibly the best sandwich I've ever had.

    Don't kid yourself, Fred & Gari's is a Cincinnati staple. I knew I would love the place from the first time I came here. The woman who took our order caught me eyeing the cookies and asked me if it was my first time there. I nodded and she told me "first time customers get a free cookie" and included a delicious cookie with my meal.

    I've ordered many sandwiches here over the years, but the bottom line is that the sourdough bread here is the bomb. The tuna salad wasn't my favorite, but was definitely decent fare. On top of the delicious bites here, the service is always top tier. I'm always greeted with a warm welcome and will come here any time I find the excuse to!

    tl;dr: Great food and service. Only reason it got a 4 out of 5 is because I only tried it once.

    I walked in here a few days back because I was in a rush to get to my new job but forgot to have lunch. This spot was nearby and it was one $ so I was sold. Who doesn't like a quality sammich?

    I walked in apparently near closing time as he was breaking down everything for the day. He said all they had left to make were sammiches which was good because it was all I was looking for.

    We chatted a bit and like always I asked what he recommended. We landed on the gourmet turkey with cole slaw and fruit on the side.

    I walked it back to my car to eat and I was in heaven. I take my sammiches seriously and everything was good. Crispy lettuce, fresh tomato, creamy sauce, and flavorful turkey with bread so soft you would have thought it was made out of pillows.

    Debating going there today. Will return.

    Delicious lunch and engaging owners!  I had the turkey club with fresh house roasted turkey and my husband had the spicy Italian both with marinated veggies and fresh fruit!  We also were given yummy fresh cookies for our first visit!  It won't be our last

    One of the best spots for lunch in Cincinnati. I always make a point to stop by when in town. Fred & Gari treat me like a local, highly recommend stopping by if you have not!
